That's another project for spring take it to the scales and see what the heck I really do pull. The easy-to-read 4.3-inch color touch screen, with day and night time auto dimmer makes monitoring data easy to read, without straining and squinting on the new INFINITY from DP-Tuner. It's probably in the 6500 - 7000 neighborhood. Spring will soon be here and I'll be better able to give a report when I start pulling a 7x14 enclosed full of seamless gutter equipement & materials. I also got rid of the factory orange intake boot at the turbo and put a nice heavy one on from Riffraff. I have added a 3" down pipe and a K&N breather kit, but I only used the hardware and replaced the K&N element with a Donaldson filter. However, most guys here will tell you that no matter what the setting says, you'll only gain 40 HP or so max if you still have stock injectors. I have yet to pull my trailer with it, so I can't give you any concrete answers on performance. I put 10 or 12 local, flat land miles on it before I put the truck up. I also bought a multi position switch from DP for it.īut the truck was put up for winter as soon as I installed the chip. I have a DP and had it set up with Stock, Hi (1200 rpm) Idle warm up, 80 HP Tow and 60 HP Econo. People have said just a superchip or edge/bully dog would be as good instead of installing a chip. Let me know what everyone thinks, or if they have better reccomendations. Also curious if anyone thinks I should add pyro gauges for tranny temps, exharst temps, and boost? Will I get too hot? I am curious who has a dp tuner, what kind of performace they have got, and if these sound like reasonable tunes for what loads I pull. I thought about also getting these additional ones.

He figured that with these settings I wouldn't have to change stock exhaust or intake. Jody reccommended the F5 position switch with these settings. I am curious if anybody has dp tunes and which ones. The truck is an automatic with 3.55 axle ratio.

Load can get anywhere from 13,000 up to 19,000lbs. I usually pull a 20 or a 24 ft stock trailer with livestock (cattle). Everything I have is stock as of right now. I am looking at purchasing a DP tuner for my 1997 Ford powerstroke diesel.
